The Wild’s… the people who gave us our name.
Some local people might even still remember them. Dennis & Kathleen grew up in nearby Beighton.
Dennis was usually found in Beighton Top Club with a pint of Stones in hand. A real character, that’s what you’ll find inside Wild’s… the same character and cheeky northern charm. Whether that’s in the Stones Bitter orange on the walls or the mirrored pub signs.
And Kathleen, a proper hardworking woman with Irish roots that wouldn’t let you leave her home without being fed. With a wicked sense of humour and no-nonsense attitude, kind but you wouldn’t cross her.
A real full circle moment, Kathleen worked in the building where we are now when it was Staniforth Tools. You will find that same hardworking, welcoming and no bs attitude in our chair.
About Wild's
Our barbershop blends modern barbering with a nod to tradition and heritage. Inspired by the owner’s roots, from childhood days in 1970s working men’s clubs to the very building where her mum once worked Wild’s is a space built on community and craft.
